Not all HGV licences are the same, because the vehicles differ in size and weight. Below is a guide to the types of licenses we offer training for at Premier Fleet Solutions. We offer courses for the licences and vehicle sizes below:
Also known as an Artic or Class 1
For vehicles in excess of 7,500kg with trailers over 750kg
Also known as an Rigid or Class 2
For vehicles in excess of 7,500kg with trailers up to 750kg
For coach and bus drivers
For coaches or buses with more than 16 passenger seats
Drive a Van, Ambulance, Horsebox or Motorhome
For vehicles between 3,500kg and 7,500kg with trailers up to 750kg
Van with Trailer
For vehicles between 3,500kg and 7,500kg with trailers up to 3,500kg
For car drivers towing a Caravan or Trailer
All car drivers are now able to tow trailers weighing up to 3,500kg. However, this training is perfect for developing confidence
