Purpose

This policy outlines Premier Fleet Solutions Ltd’s commitment to preventing modern slavery and human trafficking in our business operations and supply chains. We recognise our responsibility to act ethically and with integrity in all our business relationships.

Scope

This policy applies to all employees, contractors, suppliers, and business partners of Premier Fleet Solutions Ltd.

Definition

Modern slavery encompasses slavery, servitude, forced and compulsory labour, and human trafficking. It is a violation of fundamental human rights.

Statement

Our business, Premier Fleet Solutions Ltd is committed to combatting slavery and human trafficking in its business and supply chains, and we make this statement to assist with compliance with the Modern Slavery Act 2015.

As our business has a turnover of less than £36 million, we do not have a legal obligation to produce a modern slavery statement. However:

• We agree that exploitation within all supply chains ending in the UK is a blight on our society, and we are committed to playing our part in eliminating exploitation;

• We understand that customers with obligations under the Modern Slavery Act 2015 cannot comply with those duties without our cooperation.

To that end, we confirm that we have examined our own business and, to the extent that it is reasonably practicable, businesses within our supply chain and we confirm the following:

• We confirm that within our own business, no relevant offence relating to slavery or human tracking has been committed.

• We have made enquiries of businesses that supply directly to us and we are confident that no relevant offence is committed in that business.

• In so far as it was reasonably practicable, we have examined our supply chains and we can confirm that we found no evidence of slavery or human trafficking

Our business provides HGV and PCV bespoke training providing a high level of support throughout the entire process.

Our business structure:  We employ 6 employees and we have 2 Directors.

We operate in the United Kingdom

Our supply chain is as follows:

D4 Drivers – based in UK only

Motor Medicals – Based in UK Only

Driver Theory 4 All – Based in UK Only

Zoho – Based in India – International coverage

DVSA – Based in UK Only

DVLA – Based in UK Only

We understand that certain industry sectors and geographical regions entail greater risk of exploitation than others. We do not believe that our supply chain is in one of those sectors.

Where it is reasonably practicable, we ensure that businesses in our supply chain have made a similar statement relating to slavery and human trafficking.

The person in our business responsible for assessing matters relating to slavery and human trafficking is: Sarah Martin, Operations Director.

We also encourage all employees to report on any matters relating to slavery or human trafficking in our supply chains of which they become aware.

Policies and Procedures

To fulfil our commitment, we will:

• Risk Assessment: Conduct regular risk assessments of our supply chains to identify potential areas of concern.
• Supplier Due Diligence: Implement stringent supplier selection and due diligence procedures, including contractual obligations to comply with anti-slavery laws.
• Training: Provide training to employees to help them recognise the signs of modern slavery and understand the procedures for reporting concerns.
• Reporting Mechanisms: Establish clear procedures for reporting suspected instances of modern slavery, including an anonymous whistleblowing mechanism.
• Monitoring and Review: Regularly monitor the effectiveness of our policies and procedures and review this policy annually.

Responsibilities

• Directors: Overall responsibility for ensuring this policy complies with our legal and ethical obligations.
• Employees: Expected to comply with this policy and report any concerns related to modern slavery.

Reporting Concerns

Employees and other stakeholders are encouraged to report any concerns or suspicions regarding modern slavery to Operations Director – Sarah Martin at sarahmartin@premierfleetsolutions.com

Reports will be treated in confidence and thoroughly investigated.

Non-Compliance

Premier Fleet Solutions Ltd will take seriously any allegations of non-compliance with this policy. Failure to comply may result in disciplinary action, including termination of employment or contracts.

Communication

This policy will be communicated to all employees, suppliers, and business partners and will be available on our website.

Review

This policy will be reviewed annually by the Operations Director – Sarah Martin to ensure its continued effectiveness and compliance with legal requirements.
